Csaba Szabó

Cultural manager, youth worker, caricaturist and cartoonist. He was born in 1970 in Kiskunfélegyháza. At the time of the regime change, he spent his college years in Baja, then in 1991 he settled in Kecskemét. Since then, he has been an active participant of the local civil and cultural life, and in the life of youth. He is currently the leader of the youth development department of the Hírös Agóra Cultural and Youth Center. Between 2005 and 2014, he was a member of the board of trustees of the Hungarian Animation House Public Foundation, and during that time, he was actively involved in the preparation of various contents for youth, such as educational films and series. For instance, he was the screenwriter and director of the pilot episode of the Civics Education animation film series. As an illustrator, comic strip artist and caricaturist, he contributes in the creation of information booklets, different publications and apps for young people. He is a lecturer of Community Development and European Studies at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church.
