KAFF is now open for entries!

Kecskemét Animation Film Festival has extended its submission deadline to 20 April.

The 15th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival is now open for submissions. Hungarian and European works produced after 1 February 2019 can be entered into the Competition Program.

Competition for Hungarian works is open to six categories - Feature Film, TV Special, Short Film, Television Series, Applied Animation (commercial, signal, trailer, credits, music video), and Student Film. In the European film category, the competitions are Feature Film, TV Special and Television Series. Registration of films is free of charge. Deadline for entries is March 31, 2021.

During the festival, all screenings are free. KAFF intends to deliver the greatest part of Hungarian and international animated film production of the last two years. In addition to the competition programs, the festival will feature theme-related screenings, retrospective selections, professional conferences, and masterclasses as well as workshops and exhibitions.

Due to the pandemic situation, Hungary's largest animation film festival, the Kecskemét Animation Film Festival will be held later than its traditional date, between 11 and 15 August 2021.
