Awards of the 15th KAFF

The prizes of the 15th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival were awarded in Hírös Agóra of Kecskemét tonight. Six juries evaluated the competition programme of 90 works and they gave out awards in 19 categories.

The award for Best European Feature Film and the Audience Award both went to Tomm Moore’s Wolfwalkers. The prizes for Best Hungarian and European TV Series, Best 3D Film, and Best Script were received by Mária Horváth, creator of Gipsy Tales. Gábor Ulrich’s short titled Dune was given the award for Best Animation Work, as well as the Award of the Hungarian Film Critics. The film Helfer by Anna Szöllősi was recognized as having the Best Visual Language. The prize for the Best Short Film was shared by Kinga Rofusz’s Home and Bye Little Block! by Éva Darabos. Zsófia Osztós won Best First Film with her work titled Anywhere. The biannually organized international festival was held between 11 and 15 August this year.
