A 10-year-old boy named Willy instead of school hunts for the family's cat and the local sparrows living in Klauzál Square. Verbena, the clumsy fairy and guardian angel of the sparrows, tries to make a good child out of this wicked teenager. But the magic spray in his hand has a malfunction and turns Willy into a sparrow. Thus one of the most memorable Hungarian cartoon characters was born in the figure of the sparrow-man Willy.
